Kakamega Innovation Hub: Empowering Youth, Transforming Futures
In a rapidly evolving digital world, access to technology and skills can shape entire communities. At the Tech Talent Hub Foundation, we believe that every young person deserves the tools to thrive in the digital economy. That vision is coming to life in Kakamega County.
In partnership with Hon. Peter Salasya and the ICT Authority, we’ve officially launched the Kakamega Innovation Hub — a vibrant space designed to equip youth with practical tech skills, spark creativity, and nurture innovation.

Bridging the Digital Divide
For many young people in Kakamega, opportunities to build digital careers have been out of reach. This hub changes that. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and access to resources, youth can now learn in-demand skills such as digital marketing, freelancing, coding, and entrepreneurship.
The goal is simple but powerful: to bridge the digital divide and ensure that no young person is left behind in the future of work.
A Partnership for Impact
This milestone was made possible through strong collaboration between government and community leaders. Hon. Peter Salasya’s support has been instrumental in creating a space that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of local youth. The partnership with the ICT Authority ensures that the hub is aligned with national digital transformation goals.
A Launchpad for Innovation
The Kakamega Innovation Hub isn’t just a training center — it’s a launchpad for ideas. From tech bootcamps to community hackathons, the hub will host programs that help young innovators turn their skills into opportunities and solutions for their communities.
Building a Brighter Future Together
This is just the beginning. By investing in youth and technology, we’re investing in a more inclusive and innovative future. The Kakamega Innovation Hub is a living example of how partnerships and vision can create lasting change.
